It is important to learn about the past. By learning and sometimes, experiencing it, we can learn from the mistakes which our ancestors made in the past, and not do it again. We should not let history repeat itself, if it is of a negative consequence. Also, through learning about the past, we can cultivate more on our traditions and cultures, instead of letting the wonderful practices and traditions disappear as the years go by.
